Apollo Telemedicine Networking Foundation | A Legacy in Community Care
Apollo Telemedicine Networking Foundation (ATNF), is a not-for-profit Section 25 company incorporated under the Indian Companies Act, 1956, with 80G and 12AA registration. ATNF is a division of the Apollo Hospitals Group, which designs, develops and catalyzes sustainable technology-enabled community healthcare programs to address the existing challenges in the public health systems along with popularizing the concept and benefits of telemedicine. ATNF operates telemedicine centers in different locations across India with primary focus on bringing quality healthcare to far-flung and remote geographies. ATNF has partnered with state governments, corporate entities, PSUs and research institutions to curate projects.
In the last 20+ years, ATNF has played a major role in demonstrating thought leadership at local, national and international levels – in evangelising, promoting and advocating telemedicine. These include presentations, publications, academic activities, and developing sustainable business models.
Community Healthcare Interventions
These community healthcare models have inspired many new entrants, to what was once an unknown discipline. Cost-effective, appropriate need-based innovative, novel methods have been used, resulting in a positive impact at the community level. Close collaboration with the Government of India, and State Governments have resulted in PPP projects in the telehealth space.
